    Hikvision’s Explosion-proof and Anti-Corrosion series offer special cameras for applications in hazardous and extreme environments.

     

    The explosion-proof cameras use 3.5-mm thick stainless steel housing and a specially-designed joint to help prevent internal explosion. With Hikvision explosion-proof cameras monitoring can be done remotely, leading to increased safety and security without requiring the presence of personnel in hazardous areas. Hikvision explosion-proof cameras are ideal for applications such as factories, chemical plants, oil and gas stations.

     

    Salt, humidity, and chemical contamination can significantly harm electronic devices, especially with continuous exposure. Hikvision anti-corrosion cameras, constructed of 316L grade (also known as marine grade) stainless steel, are robust enough to withstand most corrosive environments. The cameras' corrosion-resistant design is resilient to salty sea air, making it suitable for chemical, marine, naval, underwater, and other corrosive environments.
