All of the programs fall under the Hikvision Technology Program with partner benefits, commercial and technical tools, and great opportunities to expand business through partnership with Hikvision.

ISAPI - HIKVISION HARDWARE DEVICE INTEGRATION

Via the proprietary protocol ISAPI, Hikvision devices make a wealth of information, resources, and high-quality video available for third-party systems. This program enables external systems – such as video management software or central monitoring stations – to interact deeply with Hikvision products and leverage the high-quality built-in features of the devices.

OPENAPI - PLATFORM-TO-PLATFORM SOFTWARE INTEGRATION

Via this stable and version-agnostic API, third-party systems can access and operate Hikvision resources, view live feed and play back video, use two-way audio, and synchronize data, as well as transfer events and alarms both ways. The Open API offers a variety of methods for data exchange, such as database (SQL server) or via simple formats like comma separated values (CSV), and is customizable to meet exact requirements.

OPTIMUS – POWERFUL ACCESS CONTROL & IOT INTEGRATION

Optimus is a system-level middleware ideal for the integration of HikCentral with external hardware systems, such as access control, building management, security and fire protection, and much more. Optimus is designed to manage the mapping and integration of events and alarms as well as address data synchronization between HikCentral and external systems.

HEOP – HIKVISION EMBEDDED OPEN PLATFORM FOR CAMERAS

The HEOP platform enables technology partners to imbed their proprietary software in Hikvision cameras. This full-scale cooperation program includes development and integration of apps for select standard Hikvision IP cameras as well as a complete and distribution-friendly licensing model.

ACCESS CONTROL INTEGRATION

When it comes to Access Control Integration, Hikvision s main focus is on the MinMoe Face Recognition Terminal.

There are two primary systems to integrate with MinMoe: Access Control, Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS, also referred to as Time & Attendance System) For these two types of systems, the requirements are quite different.

ARC INTEGRATION

An Alarm Receiving Center (ARC) is a secure, 24-hour control room with trained experts which can receive and process alarm signals from remote sites. It is also known as a Central Monitoring Station (CMS). Alarm Monitoring Software (called "ARC Software" here) is a system designed to receive alarm signals and to process those signals with a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the operator. Sur-Gard is a standard alarm protocol from Tyco. It is defined as an alarm uploading protocol, mainly used in the command center.
